This Saturday, April 23, is the 4th Annual Keith Lippert Fundraiser at
the VFW at 3250 U.S. Hwy. 1, in Rockledge. It's hard to believe that
this is the fourth one. As you may, or may not recall, Keith was the
gentleman that started the "Friday Night Locker Room" approximately
12 years ago. He passed away suddenly while preparing to broadcast
a high school football game. To date, there has been $10,000.00
awarded to high school seniors through the Keith Lippert Scholarship
Fund. I fully understand that without your support and approval we
would not have been able to continue broadcasting local high school
sports on the radio. This in turn has helped tremendously with the
scholarship program. On behalf of June Lippert, the entire Lippert
family, Orville Susong, Rick May, and myself...I thank you for that.
The fundraiser will be from noon until 4:00pm. It is a spaghetti
lunch/dinner, which includes spaghetti, salad, desert, and drink, for only
$6.00. There will also be raffles, 50/50, karaoke contest (starts at
2:00pm), and much more.
I would like to invite each of you to this event, and I hope you will
forward this information to as many people as you can. The more
money we raise, the more money we can give away!!
