Keith Lippert, with ESPN Radio AM1060 in Brevard County, died
suddenly while preparing to broadcast a high school football game on
Friday, October 12, 2007. Keith broadcasted high school sporting
events in Brevard County for the past seven years and will be missed
by all of those he has touched. His highest priority was to promote local
high school athletes, and to bring their athletic endeavors to the
airwaves for those that were unable to attend sporting events. Keith
broadcasted football, baseball, basketball, and just about whatever
sport was in season. He was a tremendous ambassador for high school
sports. He will be sorely missed by anyone that has a connection to
high school sports.
A scholarship fund has been established in Keith's name to help
Brevard County students attend college. Keith worked so hard to
promote young people he did not know, now we would like to help him,
and his family, by keeping his name and memory alive.
